Trailer fire in Prince George destoys fifth-wheel RV

Fireplace wrecked a fifth-wheel trailer just off Highway 97 Saturday night time.

The trailer, parked involving houses on Central Road East in between Eighth Avenue and Tenth Avenue, erupted into flames that shot superior into the night sky.

Trailer operator Rob Clark was asleep in his house when he read a neighbour, Chris Barton, pounding on his doorway to inform him about the hearth at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

“The flames were being definitely up there and then when the propane bottles bought heading there was a great deal of fire coming out of them,” reported Clark.

Prince George Fireplace Rescue crews from three halls responded to the connect with and contained the fireplace, trying to keep it from leading to harm to the nearby residences.

“We got seriously blessed that way, they acquired it less than manage quite brief,” stated Clark.

“I would like to thank Prince George hearth department for doing the job difficult and responding so quickly,” stated Laura Clarj-Dachnych.

“We had our camping trailer burning near to our property as effectively as our neighbors fortunately they bought it controlled so the residences failed to get started on fire. Also a big thank you to our neighbors who all aided out as very well.”
