Biden to travel Tuesday to Buffalo following mass shooting

A White Household official claimed Sunday that Mr. Biden had spoken to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, who is from Buffalo, and he had attained out to the city’s mayor, Byron Brown.

Legal professional Normal Merrick Garland reported Saturday that federal authorities are “investigating this subject as a dislike crime and an act of racially-enthusiastic violent extremism.”

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn said Saturday that Gendron arrived from Conklin, New York, which is close to a 3 and a 50 percent hour travel from Buffalo. In a hate-loaded manifesto purportedly prepared and posted online by Gendron in advance of the attack, he stated that he chose the location for the reason that it has a high Black populace and “is not that considerably absent.”
